At Yalumba it means making a continuous effort to reduce impacts on the environment by staying involved in the community and persevering to make great wine with minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery, generation after generation. Being harmonious with the natural environment has been at the core of Yalumba’s certified organic winemaking program.

Lark Hill was farmed using organic practices from inception in 1978, until a ‘lightbulb’ moment in 2003 when we attended a conference on Biodynamic farming. We use Biodynamics to achieve true sustainability - our farms are self-sufficient and the vines are managed in a way that means they will continue to thrive for generations to come.

Biodymamics isn’t about dogmatic restrictions, or prescriptive farming, or a ‘silver bullet’ to solve a problem; it’s a toolkit to help us learn about how to help our farm.take away

Rosnay Organic vineyard and orchard is located at Canowindra, in the Central Ranges of NSW, growing certified organic wines, olives, and figs.  Certified organic since 1998, the vines and orchards have never been sprayed with harmful chemicals.

Rosnay’s awards include the Inaugural Organic Pioneers Award in 2012, the Greg Johnson Trophy for Best Local Red Wine in 2012, 2013 & 2014 and the NASAA Wine Estate Organic Wine of the Year in 2016.
